On Friday 4th November it was athletics day, we hit to the field to our houses we went, while everyone went to there houses there in. We hurry to get there with boring faces and when all classes came we started athletics day.
Then straight into it we did the first of the house points. Next we went straight into racing, "starting off we will have all the five year old girls to the starting line" called out Mr Dawson with the microphone. These were the rest of the junior races.
We had
- five year old boys
- six, girls & boys
- seven, girls & boys
- eight, girls & boys
and last but not least nine year old girls& boys. They were so fast that it finally went to the ten year old intermediate girls and boys 100 metre race. I was so excited that it was my turn to race fort he year six girls but until then i still came third place in that race. But for a start there at least Latoya came first.
Then came the next races were the senior races. in first place was Jasmine and second place was Allanah.
After that was the oldest people of this school the year seven and eights.
We had the most wonderful races after all the finalist were after the teachers vs students.IT WAS ON at athletics day all the house points were added up and the wining house once again was Miro house with he highest score. It was very fun at athletics day for most, and we had the most fun there.
At the end the classes did there normal work as usual before the home bell rang.The most beautiful day ever.
I also hope we do athletics day in intermediate school too.
